It may not be a Bollywood film, but it’s still Aishwarya

According to sources Ram Gopal Varma too has decided to cast Ash opposite Abhi in his forthcoming Sarkar 2. The film will have the hit trio Ash, Abhi and Amitabh Bachchan again after their hit item song ‘Kajra Re’ together.

Sarkar 2 is Ram Gopal Varma’s sequel and explores the mafia and their lives. The earlier part which starred the father-son duo Amitabh-Abhishek focused more on the life of Amitabh. However the sequel will be an extension and will focus more on Abhi. Ash will play Abhi the gangster’s moll in the film. Varma confirms that Ash will be in Sarkar 2 “Yes, it’s true that Aishwarya has agreed to be a part of Sarkar 2. We only need to work out her dates. She’ll play the lead opposite Abhishek.”

Sarkar 2 is slated to begin shooting in February 2007.
