Mumbai: Prime Video, India’s favorite entertainment platform, has launched the highly anticipated trailer for its original series, Citadel: Honey Bunny, packed with action and thrilling moments. Directed by Raj and DK (Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK), this Indian installment of the Citadel universe is written by Raj, DK, and Sita R. Menon. The series is executive produced by D2R Films, Amazon MGM Studios, and AGBO’s Russo Brothers. David Weil (Hunters), Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, and Scott Nemes are executive producers for all Citadel series globally, including Citadel: Honey Bunny. Midnight Radio also joins as executive producers. The star-studded cast includes Varun Dhawan and Samantha in lead roles, along with versatile actors K.K. Menon, Simran, Saqib Saleem, Sikander Kher, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, and Kashvee Majmudar. Citadel: Honey Bunny will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in India and over 240 countries on November 7.
The trailer showcases a 90s-inspired spy thriller with explosive action, high-octane stunts, and intense drama, all enhanced by stellar performances and stunning visual effects. The story follows stuntman Bunny (Varun Dhawan), who recruits struggling actress Honey (Samantha) for a side gig, only for both to be entangled in a dangerous world of espionage, deception, and high-stakes action. Years later, their turbulent past resurfaces, forcing the estranged pair to reunite for the safety of their daughter, Nadia.
