Celebrating the 25th anniversary of his directorial debut, 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,' Karan Johar showered accolades on superstar Shah Rukh Khan, hailing him as the eternal 'Jawan' (youthful) actor who can effortlessly continue portraying love stories. The occasion was marked with a special screening of the film attended by the star cast, including Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji.

Reflecting on this cinematic milestone, Karan Johar shared his sentiments, saying, "Every memory of this film is special. I recall my father telling me that even if this movie performs averagely, you should realize you have a promising career. I'm elated that it fared well, and it's all thanks to Aditya Chopra and SRK."

Shah Rukh Khan, fondly referred to as SRK, expressed his gratitude, saying, "I've always maintained that I owe my stardom to Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra, and, of course, Yash Chopra and Yash Johar, who played a pivotal role in shaping my career. Yet, I'm not sure if I'll continue doing love stories now. Let the younger ones take the mantle."

Acknowledging SRK's contribution, Karan responded, "As far as SRK goes, he is the eternal 'Jawan.' He has the ability to portray love stories indefinitely. In fact, he redefined 'love' in Hindi cinema."

'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,' a classic written and directed by Karan Johar, was produced by Dharma Productions.
