Mumbai. Popular actress Shehnaaz Gill, known for her recent film 'Thank You For Coming' alongside Bhumi Pednekar, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, and Shibani Bedi, has been admitted to a hospital in Mumbai. The 'Bigg Boss 13' fame actor is currently enjoying the success of her latest project, but her health took a turn, leading to this hospitalization. During her stay, she received a heartfelt visit from film producer Rhea Kapoor.

Shehnaaz took to Instagram Live to reassure her fans about her well-being. She shared, "Life is full of ups and downs, and I've experienced one of those downs. But I'll be back in action in a few days. I'm fine now. I was unwell due to an infection that I contracted after consuming a sandwich."

During the Instagram Live session, Shehnaaz received warm words from actor Anil Kapoor, who likened her to a legendary actress, saying, "Greetings, Shehnaaz ji. You are like Mumtaz... the next Mumtaz. Everyone is watching and appreciating."

Rhea Kapoor, the producer of 'Thank You For Coming,' had previously shared audition videos featuring Bhumi Pednekar, Dolly Singh, and Shibani Bedi. The audition footage showcased the chemistry between the actresses. In her post, Rhea mentioned, "Auditions and chemistry tests for 'Thank You For Coming,' during the pandemic! We couldn't have found a better Kanika, Pallavi, and Tina. Friends for life. 'Thank You For Coming' is now in cinemas, thanks to the incredible talent of Radhika Anand and Prashasti Singh."

Directed by Karan Boolani, 'Thank You For Coming' was released in theaters on October 6, 2023. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film has garnered decent box office numbers, earning ₹1.06 crore on its opening day in India. He tweeted, "#ThankYouForComing has successfully attracted urban audiences, despite strong competition from multiple new and existing films. A solid start, considering the clever release strategy (limited screens and 'A' certificate). Friday: ₹1.06 crore in India."

'Thank You For Coming' faces box office competition with Akshay Kumar's 'Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue' and Rajveer Deol's debut film 'Dono.'
