Technology is advancing, and it can be both a boon and a bane, depending on how it is developed, adopted, and managed. Technological progress improves efficiency, connectivity, and quality of life and has also led to groundbreaking discoveries in many fields, including medicine, communication, and education. But it can be a bane too, like it can lead to privacy violations and security vulnerabilities, among other things.

Celebrities talk about the growing use of technology and how it has its faults.

Saanand Verma: Technology is a very broad term that includes all scientific inventions. The way human lifestyles have developed worldwide is largely because of these scientific advancements. So, I feel that technological progress is a wonderful thing. However, overusing anything can lead to problems, side effects, or negative outcomes. It’s important to use technology in moderation. Any technology that interferes with nature or harms the environment—like increasing pollution or damaging the ecosystem—should not be encouraged. We need to ensure that we use technology in ways that do not harm the balance of nature.I believe that we should stay connected to nature. Whatever natural resources and strengths we have should always remain a part of our lives. It’s important to protect nature and the environment while using technology wisely and in moderation. In our personal lives, the more we stay connected to nature, the better it will be for our overall well-being.

Subuhii Joshi: I think these days, everyone is constantly on their phones, using the internet, or working on laptops. Even when we’re in a group, instead of talking to each other, we’re all busy looking at our phones, scrolling through reels, or just browsing. Sometimes I feel this needs to stop. We’ve become so dependent on our devices that we hardly take time to talk and connect with people around us. Even though I'm guilty of this—right now, I’m answering on my phone, working on my laptop, and sitting at my workplace all at the same time. It can get overwhelming. There are times when it feels like too much, and it starts affecting your health. Personally, I get headaches from overusing my phone or laptop. That’s why I make it a point to disconnect every now and then. For example, when I go on holiday, I reduce my phone usage a lot. Sometimes, I even switch off my phone for a few hours or even a whole day. My fans and work colleagues often get worried and ask me why I do this, but I feel it’s very important to take a break.I think everyone should take some time to disconnect from everything and just live in the moment. Spending one full day without your phone can be so refreshing. It helps you reconnect with yourself and the world around you.

Bhumika Gurung: I feel that technology has completely taken over every aspect of our lives today—whether it’s romance, sleep, or anything else. For example, even for romance, people turn to Google, look up ideas, and then post pictures online. To sleep, we use sleeping music or apps. While technology has definitely helped us in many ways and continues to make our lives easier, it’s important to be aware of its downsides. Just like everything else in life, technology also needs to be used in moderation. As people often say, you can enjoy everything in life, but only in limited amounts. There has to be a balance. In my opinion, technology should never overpower your personal relationships or affect your mental health. It’s all about maintaining that balance and ensuring it doesn’t take away from the real, meaningful aspects of life.

Ekta Tiwari: The impact of technology on our lives has Increased efficiency and productivity. Improved communication and connectivity. Enhanced access to information and knowledge.Automation of routine tasks Information overload and decreased attention span.Increased stress and anxiety.Decreased face-to-face interaction and deepened social isolation.Blurred boundaries between work and personal life Set clear boundaries. Establish "tech-free" zones and times during meals and before bed. Prioritize self-care. Engage in activities promoting physical and mental well-being, exercise, and meditation. Practice mindfulness: Focus on the present moment, avoiding excessive multitasking.Regularly disconnect: Schedule "digital detoxes" to recharge and refocus. While technological advancements offer numerous benefits, it's essential to maintain a balance between technology usage and other aspects of life. By setting boundaries, prioritizing self-care, and practicing mindfulness, individuals can harness the benefits of technology while minimizing its drawbacks.

Rinku Ghosh: Technology has made our lives so much easier, but yes, it has also made things faster. We’re constantly juggling so many tasks, and sometimes it feels like there’s no time to just breathe. I think it’s im
