Controversy continues to surround the highly-anticipated film "Leo," featuring Thalapathy Vijay. While the film's trailer release generated significant excitement among fans, it also garnered criticism for not censoring a profanity during theater screenings. In the midst of this drama, a group of dancers has now taken their concerns to the production company's office, alleging non-payment for their work on the song "Naa Ready." These protests shed light on the ongoing intrigue surrounding the film, keeping both fans and critics on edge.

A video depicting the dancers engaged in a heated discussion, presumably with a member of the Leo production team, has been shared on Puthiyathalaimurai TV on X (formerly known as Twitter). In the video, many can be heard expressing their frustration over unpaid dues, which have remained unsettled for over four months since the completion of their work.

In the video, a representative from the production team advised the protesting dancers to contact their union, as they were responsible for clearing the payments.

Reportedly, the producers had enlisted approximately 1,500 extra dancers for the song, which was also the first song of Leo's soundtrack. Producer Lalit Kumar had previously disclosed that the song was filmed on an extravagant scale, incurring substantial expenses. It's worth noting that the shooting of the song spanned seven days.

Previously, Riyaz Ahmed, one of the dancers in the song, made similar allegations on social media. In a video, he claimed to be one of the freelance dancers hired for the "Naa Ready" song shoot and displayed his identity card provided for identification. "Even after four months, I have not received my payment. Our concerns have gone unanswered. I appeal to the Leo team to settle our payments promptly," he urged.

Prior to the film's trailer launch, "Leo" received a U/A certificate from the CBFC. Reports indicate that the board requested 13 changes to the film, including the muting of profanity.

In addition to Thalapathy Vijay, "Leo" features Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, and Priya Anand in pivotal roles. This action thriller also includes Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt and is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 19.
